Our Visitation Scholarship Program and Junior Scholars Program create future leaders
The Visitation Scholarship Programprovides funding for selected graduates to attend Catholic high schools in Chicago, along with ongoing mentoring. This funding is provided through the generosity of group of very generous donors, including Visitation alumni.
100% of the recipients in the Class of 2007 graduated high school and went on to college.
Participating Visitation Scholarship Program students achieved a 3.2 cumulative G.P.A. for 2006-07 school year, with 69% named to the Honor Roll at their schools.
To complement the high school program, we have also formed the Junior Scholars Program to begin identifying future leaders and scholarship recipients.
The Junior Scholars Program keeps students in grades 5-8 engaged and excited about learning, and enlarges the educational experience through individual and team-oriented meetings, field trips, etc.
